After Tropical Storm Fay destroyed our home we chose to demolish and build on stilts. Registered with the USGBC we expect to be the first LEED Platinum home in NE Florida (Jacksonville). THE North FL USGBC just awarded Kevin Songer, MetroVerde, the Innovation award for Water Conservation and Landscape Design. We've installed the geothermal, we'll have solar, use all native plants and reuse virtually all materials from the old house in the new one and in the landscape.
