Alberta Institute for Wildlife Conservation (AIWC) is a registered green charity and non-profit society that has been operating a wildlife hospital since 1993.
We are located northwest of Calgary, Alberta, Canada and services Calgary, Northwest Territories and southern Alberta.
Alberta Institute for Wildlife Conservation (AIWC’s) mandate is to contribute to wildlife conservation in Alberta by:
Providing complete and humane rehabilitation for injured and orphaned wildlife.
Promoting awareness and encouraging better stewardship of native wildlife through engaging educational programs.
Researching wildlife issues that enhance rehabilitation protocols and to support the broader scientific community.
Helping people by offering a humane organic pest control option with biology based intervention.
