Nebraska Vegetarian Society (NVS)

The Nebraska Vegetarian Society - OMAHA ChapterNVS was incorporated in 1991, organized for purposes of education, fostering a reverance for life and planetary well-being and kindness to animals by not eating them; to establish an information center and disseminate information. As Nebraska is the heart of the beef industry, a meat-market dominion, there is a great need for comradery and support of fellow vegetarians & vegans.   Pot luck Saturday March 29, 2008 A.D. at the First Unitarian Church at 12:00 p.m. 30th & Harney.  Please come.  No RSVP necessary.  Also:  Ne Veg Society will have a table on Earth Day in Elmwood Park.  Stop by and sign on to our e-mail list.
