St Louis Animal Rights Team (START)

Education, activism, social changeSTART educates the public regarding animal abuse and exploitation in a wide range of areas, such as factory farming, animal research, wildlife trade, and the entertainment industry, to name a few. We promote compassion and responsibility by encouraging and supporting a vegan lifestyle, which benefits not only other species but human health and the environment as well. We do this primarily through community events, letter-writing, demonstrations, leafleting, and presentations. We are an all-volunteer organization of dedicated and enthusiastic members, of all ages and backgrounds. We need and want additional members to increase our voice as we speak out for the voiceless.
