Biophilia Nature Center

Wild Edible Plant Nursery and Foraging ClassesThe Biophilia Nature Center is an ecological restoration project on the Gulf Coast of Alabama, just 7 miles west of Pensacola, Florida. We have restored hundreds of native plants to the 20-acre Center. Many are edible! Some of these are available for sale in our native plant nursery. We teach classes on identification and preparation of wild edible plants as well as general foraging strategies. Our mission is to promote appreciation and preservation of native flora and fauna in their natural habitats.
