Ancestree Organic Herbs LLC  was established in 1999 by well known herbalist Michael Pilarski, who planted an excellent diversity of medicinal plants, including native trees and shrubs, interspersed throughout to create a healthy herbal forest farm, located in the rural Methow Valley on the Eastern slope of the North Cascades in Washington State.

Recently in 2006, Chris Doree and Lexi Koch bought the planting from PIlarski, and continued to enlarge the farm, turning it into the successful business that it is today.
