It took scientists many, many years to come to an agreement that the Aye-Aye, natural species, but endangered species, is in reality a lemur native to Madagascar.
It is truly a strange Wild Animal, and one of the most endangered lemurs in the world. The black aye-aye possesses a head too big for its body, orange eyes and large batlike ears.
It is a nocturnal forager whose behavior has been compared to woodpeckers and raccoons. It utilizes its slender fingers to probe for and pry out insect grubs and juicy meats from coconuts.
