End Bear Bile Farming

There are currently over ten thousand bears kept on bile farms in China and Indochina. We would like you to help us end bear bile farming due to its abhorrent nature. These animals are milked on a regular basis for their bile, which is used in traditional medicine.

Bile is extracted in a highly painful and invasive way for bears, with all of the techniques leading to infection. The cruel and inhuman practice continues even though there are a high number of effective and affordable herbal alternatives which do not involve Animal Cruelty.

Most bile bears, as they are called, are kept in tiny cages often so small that they are unable to stand on four legs. Some of them are kept in there for their whole life since birth, and often kept in cages for thirty years. Most of them starve, and suffer from a range of diseases which ultimately end their lives.
