Fair Trade Organic Coffee

At Grounds for Change, all our specialty coffee is fair trade certified, organic certified and grown in shade. We have different roasts for each coffee from different origins to bring out their unique flavors. 

One of our most popular is our Mexico "Chiapas". It is a high-grown coffee comes from the indigenous Mayan farmers in the highlands region close to the Lacandon Jungle in Southern Mexico. 

Here we think a gentle medium roast is best to maximize the sweetness and allow all that delicious flavor notes to shine through. The results are just incredible. This coffee features subtle essences of cane sugar, sweet almond and orange zest - finished smoothly with balanced acidity. 

This coffee is certified fairtrade by the IMO and certified organic the Washington State Department of Agriculture.
