Frankferd Organic Farm

Frankferd Organic Farm recently changed their Fuel surcharge structure.

 Instead of charging a fixed $4 rate (which they’ve done for years now), they have decided to move to a more specific and graded system.

Their fuel charge has been preciously low for a while, and it hasn’t essentially been adjusted in conjunction with changing fuel prices.

Consequentially, they’ve experienced losses and they need to make some changes to prevent this from happening.

Their latest system works like this:

It  is depending on the delivery route you’re on (more specifically, its proximity to their warehouse) you will be charged a percentage of your sales total in fuel. 

For example: If you spend up to $100 and pay 5%, up to $250 and pay 3%.

The higher your sales total is, the lower your fuel surcharge percentage will be.

This will be noted in the bottom right corner of your invoice (above the amount you pay) as a (Misc.) charge.
