It's filling, delicious and also filled with healthy and nutritious ingredients.

These fruit and nut bars are a great healthy snack that will help you power through your day whilst also satisfying your sweet tooth. 

They’re not only packed with protein, omega-3s, and fiber, but area also low in sugar so there's no guilt in indulging at all. 

In fact, our selection of Torn Ranch premium dried fruits and nuts are perfect additions to these bars.

The ingredients are simple. All you need is about a third of a cup of unbleached whole-wheat flour - or you can use oat flour to make it Gluten Free, one egg, 1/8 teaspoon baking soda, a third of a cup of organic coconut sugar, three cups dried fruit - we recommend our organic and 100% natural California Dates, Pears, and Turkish Apricots, and also one and a half cup of nuts. We also recommend our Jumbo Almonds, Jumbo Cashews, and California Colossal Pistachios – or even some of our Mashuga Nuts.

The method is as simple as the ingredients. To start, you need to preheat oven to 325 degrees. Then, line an 8-by-8 inch baking pan with parchment paper, or coat with nonstick spray.

Coarsely chop fruit and nuts until pieces are about the same size. After that, whisk flour, baking soda, and baking powder together in a large bowl until combined. Add the sugar, fruit, and nuts, and mix until the fruit and nuts are coated in the flour mixture.

In a separate bowl, beat the egg with the vanilla until it’s frothy and thick and stir egg into flour mixture until evenly mixed.

Finally, spread mixture into the pan, using a spatula to smooth out the top and bake for 35-40 minutes, or until golden brown.
