At Nature's Pace Organics, we are a family-operated and certified organic Farm. We are located on a 20 acres field between the thumb and southeast Michigan.
We also participate with Community Supported Agriculture programs.
A CSA is generally a mutually beneficial agreement between the local farmer and consumer - generally the community, where they would pledge support their local farming operations. In return, they would receive a share of the harvest and fresh produce.
We believe one of the best ways to enjoy our fresh organic produce is with our recipe for Thai Chicken Cabbage Soup.
It is not only nutritious and delicious, but also perfect for those cold winter months.
To make this, you will need three chicken breasts - cooked and shredded, eight cups of organic or homemade chicken broth, two organic leeks, six carrots, one medium head of cabbage, salt and pepper to taste and half a cup of organic red curry sauce.
To make the soup, you'd need to simmer everything but the cabbage and the curry paste in a pot on medium heat for about 15mins. Then, add the shredded cabbage and cook for 5 minutes.
When everything is cooked, add the red curry paste and season to your liking.
We recommend serving this with steamed rice for a nice, warm and comforting meal.
