Here at Bindel Farms, we are a family owned local farm and we specialise in humanly-raised, heritage Pastured Meats, Eggs, and organically grown vegetables.
We believe in the quality and taste of fresh Local Food. In fact, our favourite recipe is our Ginger Ale Pork Chops. We recommend using all natural and local produce to make this where you can really taste the difference.
The ingredients include: 6-8 Pork Chops, 1 Large Onion sliced, 3 tablespoon of organic Brown Sugar, about 2-3 tablespoon Flour, 2 tbsp Chilli Sauce - or more, local or freshly made Ginger Ale, 2 tablespoon of organic Butter.
To make this, you will need to brown Chops in Pan without any oil - you can use spray oil instead and then place browned chops into baking pan.
In iron skillet, melt butter and sauté onions until soft and tender. Afterwards, place onions on top of pork chops.
In large mixing bowl, mix flour, brown sugar and chilli sauce. Here, add about 3 cups of fresh ginger ale.
After that, Place mixture on pork chops, cover tightly with foil. Bake in oven at 350F for 1 to 2-1/2 hours.
We recommend checking every 1 hour and add more ginger ale if needed.
This is great with a side of warm salad and rice.
