Of course, everyone knows that Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. However, we understand that many people out there are either not eating breakfast, or not eating the right foods for breakfast. This is a great recipe - in fact, our favourite breakfast recipe - for anyone who is not eating right in the morning. It is nutritious, healthy, super easy and of course, very very tasty.
The ingredients for our Whole Wheat Oatmeal Pancakes are:
One and a third cups or organic milk, half a cup of rolled oats, two teaspoons or natural vanilla extract, one large free range large egg, slightly beaten, one and a half tablespoons of coconut oil, one and a quarter cups of unbleached whole wheat flour, two tablespoons of Organic Cane Sugar, half teaspoon of baking soda and half a teaspoon of baking powder
To make these fluffy pancakes, you will need to combine milk, oats and vanilla in medium bowl and let stand 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Then, Stir in egg, oil, and remaining dry ingredients.
Afterwards, pour in one third of a cup batter onto well-greased skillet over low to medium heat. Once pancake begins to bubble and edges are formed, flip and cook other side approximately 1 to 2 minutes. Repeat until all pancakes are cooked.
These are delicious by themselves, or you can even serve with some of our organic Agave Blueberry Breakfast Syrup for some extra sweetness.
