Here at Backyard Farm Store, we believe in the superior taste and quality of fresh, local Organic ingredients. One of our favorite recipes is our Berry Pie. Here we strongly suggest using local and organic ingredient to make this - it will not only taste much better, but you'll definitely make this again and again.
For our famous berry pie the ingredient are:
3 organic and free range egg yolks, 4 tbs of White wine, 2/3 cups of coconut sugar, one stick of soft butter, 2 cups of unbleached all purpose flour, two pounds of berries, 3 free range egg whites, another three quarters cup of coconut sugar, 1 cup sour cream, half a cup of ground hazelnuts, 1 tsp cinnamon and 1 package vanilla sugar.
To make the crust, you need to mix egg yolks, white wine, and sugar into creamy mix. Then, stir soft organic butter in and sprinkle flour over it. Slowly incorporate by carefully mixing it. We then recommend leaving the dough for about 3 hours in fridge so it can harden up.
During, wash berries and let dry and butter up a pie form. Take the dough out of the fridge and roll it with roller to about a quarter inch. Put it in the form and press lightly into form.
To make the creamy mix, beat egg white until firm. Gently sprinkle sugar over keep beating for another minute. Then, mix the the egg white with the sour cream, nuts, and vanilla sugar gently.
The final step involves adding the mixture into the pie crust and spreading the berries over it. Push berries lightly into egg white mix.
Cook for 1 hour at 356 degrees Fahrenheit.
