Save Texan Animals

There is a critical issue surrounding the cost accounting of shelter killing in Texas. A recent opinion by the Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners currently poses a threat  to derail the no-kill achievements of Austin. We want to save Texan Animals from this threat.

The fast progress towards no-kill being made in San Antonio and other Texas cities is currently in danger.

The Board ruling is the subject of a lawsuit brought by no-kill leader Ellen Jefferson. At the core of the issue is shelter veterinary medicine vs. private practice veterinary medicine as well as the low cost of shelter killing in the state of Texas.
