For about thirty years now, the single most popular Daylily in the United States has been the Stella de Oro. A gorgeous golden flower with a tiny green throat

For us, the Stella de Oro is always taller and blooming much earlier. The star, blooming right here heavily with glory in June and early July and again through August and September.

The Flowers are small with nearly round, nicely flaring, yellow-gold petals. Lightly ruffled. Fragrant. Lovely.
