Why Organic Produce is Better

Here at Peasants Plot use organic methods to grow all of our crops so that our customers will get the best and the most natural local produce. 

When it comes to Farming and agriculture, the word "Organic" simply means, that no synthetic chemicals and no GMOs were used throughout.

We care deeply about the use of synthetic chemicals and pesticides because they have been shown to have negative affects on our health and wellbeing. Pesticides have been around since WWII and were actually introduced alongside chemical warfare. They have been scientifically linked to many health problems - these include reproductive, endocrine, immune along with cancer. 

There have been scientific studies to suggest that even small doses of pesticides from residue on food and in our water systems can have a real impact across our generations. This all comes to the fact that pesticides cause gene mutations.
